Hello all! This is my first attempt at something like this, so I would welcome any feedback. I hope the completed grid clarifies the Special Instructions, but I will add a quick explanation of the 'marginalia' for any curious solvers [SPOILERS BELOW]:

I really liked this one! A great balance between really challenging and doable. Hard to pick a favourite clue but would probably have too go for 22a - actually made me chuckle.

Thanks, Quince, I thought that was a really good puzzle, very fairly clued. Had to reveal a couple to get me over the line, but that says more about me than the clueing. A couple of very tricky words in there but gettable. Particularly liked 20A, 27A, 4D and 6D.
