17D, 23D, 13A we’re all new terms for me. 24D as well but definitely solvable anyway. 20D was tricky but a delight to put together. Lots of clever stuff going on here. Great way to start the morning, thanks for this.

Very nice, Avtaar - a few unknowns for me too, but all nicely clued. Especially liked 1a, 27a, and 14d.

Nice one, Avtaar. Sorry to be a bit late in responding. Some nice surfaces in here and I enjoyed many of the constructions. The cluing seemed very fair. Favourites include 11a, 12a, 17a, 27a, 28a, 14d, 16d and 20d. Thanks. PM

Very good Avtaar, thanks. Needed a few reveals, but that’s not unusual for me. My podium goes to 12a, 13a and 5d.

Brilliant grid from a setter who is well known in Indian crossword circles. It's rare that I go through one of his grids without needing help from Google or the dictionary and this one was no exception! Very enjoyable though. My favourites were 9a, 11a, 17a, and 6d.
