Would be v grateful for any feedback :-)

Thanks, Strad. An enjoyable and competently put together crossword with plenty of attractive clues. A lot of nice surfaces, too many to list individually. I thought 10ac was particularly neatly constructed. Not entirely convinced by the “sounds like” in 25ac. 8dn is weak and the surfaces in 28ac (one ship can’t be in several harbours), 15dn and 23dn don’t really work, but those are the only ones which I’d criticise. Some would say there were too many anagrams, but that’s a matter of taste.

Thanks for the enjoyable puzzle Strad. I particularly liked 11a, 13a and 18d because of the surfaces. Spoilers below...

Thanks Strad, an enjoyable, quite gentle solve, which isn't a bad thing from my perspective. I agree with the comments so far. I think the best clues are where the definition is disguised but the wordplay isn't too difficult. That way the solver gets a better penny-drop moment compared with an obvious definition from which the answer can generally be guessed. I'd put 1A, 10A, 21A, 27A in the former category.
