Lovely puzzle Chopin, thanks. Great to see another from you here - hopefully they'll arrive a little more frequently now. All the usual wit and neat constructions to enjoy. My particular favourites were 12a, 14a, 21a, 1d, 3d, 5d (COTD albeit I wonder if it warrants a QM) and 6d. Spoilers....

Very nice, Chopin - 6d undoubtedly my highlight, but other faves included 24a, 7d, and 17d.

i liked this puzzle. It was tricky and I accidentally revealed a couple when I checked the annotations. That helped. I didn't know 18a and I should have known 21a. I liked 10a and 22a which was the last one in because although I had the answer for 22d I couldn't parse it until I read the annotated solutions. That's a new clue type for me. Interesting. New here. Usually do the Indy. Thanks.

Hi Chopin. It has taken me a few days to catch up with MyC so apols for the late post. Another elegant creation with plenty of standouts including 10a, 11a, 14a, 22a, 23a, 6d, 7d and 17d. Spoilers in Reply. Thanks. PM

Thank you Chopin, I enjoyed this and as others have mentioned, it’s lovely to see another puzzle of yours. Needed a bit of help here and there - a bit beyond my powers as a solver. My favourites were 1d 6d 22d 14a and 21a. Particularly enjoyed the frequent misdirects

Absolutely loved this puzzle. Great theme idea, really really well executed, one of my faves and I'm sure I'll remember it for quite a while.
