Thanks, I thought this was really good, Quince. Will post some more specific comments later and maybe I'll have a go at your challenge! For now, have a look at 25D because I think one of your definitions is misspelt...

A very nice puzzle with an interesting theme. I found it a little chewy in places, especially with some of the longer clues (e.g. 11a and 18d). Like Coot, I noticed the mistake in 25d (it's needs an E in there unfortunately), which is a shame because that would have been a lovely clue! I thought pretty much all of the surfaces were great and my favourite clues were 3d, 7d and 9d. Thanks Quince.

I enjoyed the mixture of clues in this. 28a because of its simplicity but by far the favourite has to be 15d. (Spoiler in reply)

Thanks Quince, I very much enjoyed this. I think you handled the themed definitions well, considering options were limited. Good clues all round but favourites were 24a, 28a, 7d and 18d.

Well, this was absolutely delightful. Favourites were 7d, 14a, 29a (well done. love that last bit so much), 9d, 1a, 12a. Def for 16a is very cheeky (no pun intended). 23a is monstrous. I love it. Well done Quince. /// It's not great, but "Shock, primarily, after bride's head replaces daughter's in wedding picture collection? Word has it! (8)"

Thanks for this Quince. A tough challenge in places and I needed a bit of help to finish (too clever for me!) As usual some neat work found in your notes. My favourites were 7d, 28a and 29a.
