I enjoyed solving his puzzle. Good clues and some nice interplay between clues. 11a was a favourite for the reasons mentioned in the annotated solutions. I also liked 26a, 8d and 15d. Thanks.

Thank you, Rawspand. I enjoyed 4d, 7a/8d, 14a, 16d and 21d in particular. Some very short spoilery comments to follow.

I enjoyed solving this. Didn't get the theme despite being a mathematics graduate (but then you really have to bash me over the head with themes so nothing new there). 12a landed perfectly for me (but understand why others would disagree), I enjoyed 7a, 9d I was unfamiliar with but got it through clear WP, 22a is nice, 26a nice and silly. 10a would have been improved if extraneous elements could be trimmed from the fodder. Thanks, Dyno

Hi Rawspand, thanks for the puzzle. I think this is the first of yours I’ve tried. I found this good fun, you’ve clearly got a sense of playfulness and the grid is full of good ideas. Some excellent clues, my favourites being 7a and 8d (lol) 24a (neat) 5d 3d and 22a. Thanks! Spoilers…

Thanks Rawspand - that was a very pleasant mid-morning solve, and happily quite quick when I really should be doing other things! My pick were 6a, 7a, 24a, 26a and 4d. Spoilers...

Thanks for the puzzle Rawspand, the first of yours I've completed I believe - I must echo previous comments that this was a most enjoyable solve, with some lovely surface constructions and smooth uses of clue referencing. A good level of difficulty too. Lots to like, particularly 6a (nice construction), 7a (very neat), 14a (neat), 19a (satisfying), 22a (neat), 24a (likewise), 3d (satisfying), 5d (very nice) and 20d (nice)...

Late to the party - real life a distraction for several weeks - but I did enjoy it (the puzzle, I mean, not so much the other). Theme was way beyond my capacity to grasp it, so not sure if this effort was rewarded in the most obvious way, but I'm sure it's a good developmental workout for the setter. 1d and 9d new to me, but accessible from the wordplay, so nice to solve and know. Otherwise, I enjoyed the generally clever and witty clueing. Thanks Rawspand!
