I found this pretty tough, Maguff. I needed some reveals right at the end in the NW corner and what preceded that, whilst it resulted in an 80% filled grid, did not come at all easily. Fair, on the whole, but asking a lot of the solver. Faves included 11a, 13a, 20a, 1d, 6d, 7d, 20d and 25d. Spoilers in Reply. Thanks. PM

Just popping in to add my welcome to MyC , Maguff. Thanks for the puzzle, which I also found extremely tough (got about 40% before conceding defeat) - but a very impressive debut nonetheless. Nothing really to add to the helpful feedback provided by others. My podium is 20a (COTD), 11a and 7d.
