Haha it took a while (and maybe a 🍷) to get onto the required wavelength but once I tuned in, it was a fun ride! How you keep up that level of devilry for so many clues is beyond me. Favourites: 9a, 14a, 18a (see note in reply), 22a, 3d, 16d, 18d and 24d. Happy New Year and don’t do it again 😂😂😂

Good job, sirdakka. Lots to smile about as I went through this - and I got onto your wavelength which made it all the more enjoyable (mainly because it made it all the more solvable). Good grief, sirdakka - superb ingenuity and imagination, well done! I think I found this rather trickier than your last L&S special (was it really a year?); I had the whole bottom half in (incl 14a + 15a) before any of the top half and needed quite a few reveals after that. It's maybe my imagination but there seemed to be a little more indirectness in the top, particularly the NW. Anyhow, favourites: 14a, 22a (COTD), 25a, 27a, 28a, 7d, 8d, 15d, 19d and 25d.
