Thanks Fez - this was fun, and mostly nice and approachable as per its Blancheflowerish origins. Favourites included 12a, 22a, 32a(!), 33a, 34a, 11d, 22d, and 25d

I did find this a fairly gentle solve, with the unusual word or two adding a nice bit of spice. I'm not familiar with Blancheflower - what does this mean? I loved the use of forgetful and the related device in 28a: friendly ways to introduce such methods. 7d and 26a particular favourites for the quality of the surface.

Enjoyed this - one wrong filling it in too quickly, and I only got 3d by accident after going the wrong direction and googling that answer. Faves were 28a, 33a, 3d, 16d and top clue was 32a

Per your intention I did definitely find this at the gentler end of your range, despite a few tougher words (fairly clued, I thought). Liked 22a, 26a, 32a, 3d, 5d (despite your self-quibble 😆) and 22d. Spoilers >

Thanks Fez. There was a lot to enjoy here despite total ignorance about the theme. Favourites were 16a, 17a, 19a, 26a, and 6d. I missed 32a, 11d, and 15d but otherwise I found this fairly straightforward.

Late to the party, Fez, but well worth the effort. A brilliantly worked theme that i missed as per! There were many super clues but my podium is 26a, 26d, 24d. Thanks for the fun!

Great! Mostly doable for me, with some very tricksy clues in there, using standard indicator words not as indicators. 32a my favourite - very clever!

Also very late to the party. Sorry Fez. Beaten by a couple at the end. Lots to like, plenty of typical Fez trickery and lateral thinking and just about deserves the omission of the Blancheflower moniker. I was very pleased to get 32a!
