Thanks Henri, that was enjoyable with 9a, 11a, 23a, 20d, and 25d being my top picks. I lacked the GK to solve 17a and 29a. I did not spot a theme.

Lots of fun, Henri. Struck me as a bit of a Jaspri, this one. Which is no bad thing. I did rattle through it but that is no criticism. Plenty to enjoy with top faves being 9a, 10a, 21a (slightly chestnutty but good fun), 1d, 7d and 19d. Thanks. PM

Top stuff Henri, that was a satisfyingly refreshing solve full of some lovely stuff, particularly 11a (neat), 13a (fun surface), 16a (neat), 18a (likewise), 1d (nice assembly), 4d (nice red herring on first pass), 6d (very neat), 7d (neat), 8d (creative), 20d (satisfyingly gettable for a nho) and 25d (nice) - thanks for the entertainment!
