Cryptic crossword No 1,641

Half a dozen potentially tricky clues, but I wouldn't class this as a hard puzzle. Very light theme to help the solve along.

Thanks Lohengrin. I agree, I wouldn't class it as hard, but good fun. I liked the thematic clues, as well as 12a, 22a (I was misparsing it for ages), 14d, 19d and best of all, 1d. A few spoilery comments:

Well, this solver found it pretty tough going, although the theme did help with the long ones and the crossers were then helpful.
