Cryptic crossword No 1,651

8-10 tricky ones maybe, the rest not so much.

This one was too tricky for me Lohengrin, I’m afraid - or at least I failed to get on the right wavelength. Threw in the towel about halfway in and read your notes. Lots of great stuff as always. Of those I solved, I particularly liked 22a, 27a and 24d.
