Well done Baldur - much more straightforward! Nonetheless, I needed crossword solver help with 8a and 24a. The first of those I should have seen (although I do agree with Fez) and the point noted by Fez helped to trip me up on the second. But rough edges forgiven on account of the development time. Favourites: 4a (obvs!), 11a, 20a, 26a, 6d, 17d and 21d.

Thanks Baldur, really enjoyed this one. Favourites 8a (dark though!), 21d (v. good) and 11a. Didn't take me too long. Agree with Fez on a few points grammar, but impressive work for 48 hours.
