Cryptic crossword No 1,671

Thanks Gennaro - I got to this one more promptly at least… Particularly enjoyed 24a, 25a, 27a, 26d, 28d among others. A few head-scratchers, some of which gave it a satisfying level of challenge, others I wasn’t so sure about. Will elaborate in reply to avoid spoilers.

Not too much trouble filling this grid although I also scratched my head at how some of these clues worked. Annotated solutions cleared some of these up, however. Enjoyed 6d, 1d, 17a, 30a, 29a
