Cryptic crossword No 174

Hello all, I’ve already commented on a few other people’s crosswords, but by way of a proper introduction, here’s my first contribution. Very pleased to discover this site. I was pointed here from fifteensquared after sharing a puzzle there, but since that one isn't in a format I can share here, I’ve re-used a few clues from it as my starting point for this one. Otherwise, all new clues, no theme or nina.

Some very neat clues here and overall very enjoyable. Thought it was going to be easy as I did most of the NW corner in no time, but then slowed down significantly! Liked 9, 10 and 22 across and 15 down.

Thanks Widdersbel - good puzzle with well disguised definitions, which made it quite tricky. Favourites: 10A, 25A, 1D, 13D and 20D
