Fun and gentle for the most part Iguess; great over a cup of tea and a bit longer. I particularly enjoyed 5a, 9a, 15a, 5d, 16d (you had me going with that one!), 22d, 24d and others. I found the SE quadrant a bit more challenging, but all was fair. A small quiblet in reply (spoiler alert), but nothing that compromised solving. Thanks again and more please!

I think I second everything Ozpiper said. This was a really nice puzzle, thanks.

Very nice accessible yet enjoyable puzzle, thanks Iguess. Some very neat and many concise clues and nice work with your surfaces. I loved 22d 18a 11a and 12a. Other faves were 5d 24d 26d 31a 9a and 1a, but ticked many others as good. Thanks.

Nice puzzle, Iguess. 17d my last one in with a raised eyebrow only because I have rarely encountered the word as defined. Crisply clued and nothing much to query. Faves inc 5a, 8a, 18a, 23a, 31a, 1d, 5d, 14d (ha ha), 16d and 24d. Spoilers in Reply. Thanks. PM

Thanks Iguess. I’m rather late to the party but enjoyed this. Mission to lower the difficulty most definitely accomplished.

This was a gentle, enjoyable solve - thanks Iguess. I particularly enjoyed the anagrams in 16d and 1a, but lots else besides.

Good stuff, and a fairly breezy solve too. Loved 9a, 11a, 18a, 6d and 22d. More please!

Cheers Iguess, I don't have any criticism other than already mentioned 13d, I enjoyed it very much. Lots of solid cluing - favourites: 10a, 12a, 29a, 4d, 5d, 16d and 22d

Enjoyed this a lot. Favourites were 13a, 21a, 31a, 22d, 26d. I share the mild reservations that have been expressed about 13d and 20d but otherwise this was a delight.

Thanks Iguess, good stuff. Faves include 31a, 1d, 5d, 14d (though arguably needs US indicator?), 16d 22d & 26d Spoilers...
