Lots to like here Cigogne. I particularly enjoyed and admired 1a, 25a, 30a, 3d, 4d, 16d(!), 27d among others. A few stretchy elements in wp or more peripheral defs had me headscratching for a bit, but in retrospect I think all fair. So thanks and well done!
Thanks Cigogne. A bit of head scratching over 21a, 32a, 4d, 17d, 20d, and 29d didn't ruin my fun because I really enjoyed 14a, 18a, 25a, 30a (loved this), 8d, and 24d. Nice work.
Very good Cigogne, thanks. I was defeated in places but largely due to my own ineptitude in the face of sneaky wordplay and tricky references. Favourites: 14a, 18a, 30a (!), 32a, 33a (just as good 2nd time round 😏), 5d (good spot), 7d (also a good spot) and 27d. Spoilers …
Certainly some challenging parses in here, Cigogne. Not all of which did I crack. One or two fiendish assemblies and the odd definition/syndrome that i did not recognise. Plenty to like - possibly the more straightforward ones appeal the most: 6d, 9a, 25a, 26a, 30a, 5d, 6d and 27d. Thanks. PM
