An absolute hoot; fizzy and fun. Gentle-ish and huzzah for that. Lots to like: 11a, 15a, 1d 2d, etc. 22a’s superb, 8d too, and 13d’s hilarious. And I loved the sheer cheek of 14d’s “smooth roller”. I remain mildly curious about the use of “on” in 6a. But hey, I see Dada’s done the exact same thing today – I guess you can do what you like when you’re a grown-up. Ta lots. Twas annoyingly brilliant!

Thanks PM. Good fun mostly although the SE quadrant had me struggling and I resorted to a couple of reveals through impatience mainly. My podium 10a, 27a, 1d, 14d, 19d but much else to like. Spoilers…

Very good PM, thanks. Towards the gentler end of your range I’d say, although a bit like OzP I found the bottom half significantly more difficult than the top. I managed to avoid reveals but did initially enter an incorrect answer in 19a. Favourites: 11a, 12a, 22a, 27a, 3d, 13d (for the sheer cheek of it) and 19d.

Thanks PM, nicely done. Agree it was gentle-ish but still plenty to chew over. Faves include 12a, 17a, 22a, 25a (for the precision), 1d, 3d, 7d & 13d (of course). Thanks again!

Thanks PostMark. I didn't find this as gentle as others but I eventually solved everything except 22a & 16d and I needed your notes to parse 11a. My top picks were 1a, 17a, 20a, 1d, 5d, 7d, and 21d. Spoiler in reply.

Thanks PM, an enjoyable puzzle, but not a breeze for me. Faves 1a, 10a, 15a, 22a, 26a, 28a, 2d, 6d, 8d, 21d...

Three-quarters was fairly smooth going then the SE corner held me up somewhat (including, I'm embarrassed to say, 22a!) but I got there in the end with a single reveal (16d). Loved 13d, CotW that was. Also liked 10a, 15a, 27a, 6d, 14d and 21d. Thanks!

Good puzzle PostMark! URNS, SIDESWIPE, CLOSE, POSTPONED and EXTRADITES stood out for me. Very good surfaces all through.

Enjoyed that, even though I'm amongst those who didn't find it gentle. Particularly liked 1a, 12a, 14a, 26a, 27a, 7d, 14d, 16d...
