Thanks moobius - I agree with Flush that you seem to have hit the mark, although a couple of trickier ones might frustrate less experienced solvers. I particularly appreciated 18a, 22a, 24a, 4d, 17d, 19d among others. A bit more detailed discussion in reply, spoilers…

Great stuff moobius! For the most part I think you got the difficulty spot on, which is no mean feat. I solved it pretty quickly until one clue tripped me up (see reply). I’m not sure that you’d see x-refs in a Quiptic, although I don’t think that 22a was difficult. It might also be worth noting that the grid isn’t particularly friendly with so few links between the quadrants. Favourites: 12a, 21a, 23a, 7d, 8d and 17d. Spoilers …
