Great crossword! Thanks!

Brilliant stuff, Conto, with a very clever and well-executed theme. Needed the annotated solutions to fully parse a few of the more cunning clues, 24A, 6D and 23D in particular. Hard to pick favourites but I’ll go for: 9A, 10A, 19A, 22A, 30A, 1D and 18D. Thanks!

Great stuff Conto, really creative to use Spooner in so many different ways. Most enjoyable moment was on 3d (why has Conto chosen "cacking" there?... Ah!). Favourite clues were 9a, 25a, 4d, 7d and 21d.

Really great - I don't tend to like Spoonerisms so was pleasantly surprised by this! Favourites were 25a, 3d, 4d, 5d. Quite a few defeated me, including: 9a, 15a, 24a, 6d and 23d, but despite finding this quite tough I enjoyed it very much.

Like Phantom, I’m not a big fan of Spoonerism clues so my heart sank when I first saw this but I’m glad I stuck at it - love it! Really clever. To pick out some favourites: 9a (took me a long time to work this one out - devious!), 10a, 19a, 25a, 1d, 13d. 3d is cheeky but I like it. Not wholly convinced by 6d, 23d. Not sure if the apostrophe in 12a is strictly fair but that’s a minor quibble. 18d and 21d are good but I’d have rewritten one of them for the reason Phantom mentions.

Very, very clever! 9a very good - never seen that before! 12a made me laugh
