Thanks Baldur, that was fun. I liked 10a, 11a (great oxymoron!), 17a, 21a, and 18d. I revealed 16d and couldn't parse everything but that's not unusual for me. Many of the long ones were enumeration + educated guess but that's what I often do. Nice job.

Very good fun, Baldur! Like others I got quite a few of the long uns by def and enumeration but that's very often the way with multi-worders, and it just so happened here that you had a lot of them! But some great clues such as 9a ('Batty woman' made me 10a), 15a (my FOI and very helpful), 1d (best of the long uns) and 13d. Thanks!
