Brilliant work. 21a is genius, and I loved 24a, 22a, 1d, 2d and 4d. Lovely stuff.

I hope you washed your keyboard out with soap and water after you uploaded this! I like a bit of filth, so really enjoyed this. Lots of great clues. 21a is really nice, as is 1d, 4d, and 6d...

Good stuff Quince, thanks! Some really clever ideas on display and innovative indicators (nonetheless and importance for example). Particular like 16A, 18A, 24A, 25A, 1D (great use of “being”) and 20D.

Thanks for explaining 9a - I hadn't appreciated how well-constructed it was. 16a contained a term with which I wasn't familiar, and 19d is obscure, to say the least. But some lovely clues here - I particularly liked 13a, 24a (yes indeed!), 1d, 3d, 4d, 5d, 23d. And isn't it nice that different people like different selections of favourite clues?
