Thank you, I enjoyed that! And I solved and parsed it all! I do have some feedback which I'll hide below, I hope it is helpful. It comes from a Rookie too, so obviously I'm not claiming to be right! But I have learnt some really useful things from a lot of people recently, so I'll try and apply that and pass it on!

Hi Delta! This is quite an ambitious theme, and I'm all in favour of that. I like 15a (with some reservations), 24a, 3d, 14d and 18d. I scanned Guinevere's comments - I don't see anything to disagree with, and she's covered all the big things I wanted to raise. You have some nice ideas - your construction of 1a, for example, could give a really good clue with a little more precision and polish. That will come - keep at it. I look forward to your next one.
