Special Instructions: My last puzzle was too difficult to be enjoyable, thank you to sirdakka and Gennaro for gently pointing this out. This time I have focused on fun and cheeky surfaces and wordplay, with fewer toughies (but still a few, as comments have pointed out)! As always I appreciate feedback!

Good stuff, thanks Gillafox. I was pretty pleased to get a largely complete grid although I did need some e-help, particularly in the SE, including revealing 10d. I suspect that this is a lot harder than you think it is, with some very tricky constructions and non-obvious synonyms - see more in reply. Lots to like though. My favourites: 11a, 13a, 23a, 2d, 4d and 22d. Spoilers …

Thanks Gilafox. This was by no means a cakewalk but it was certainly more accessible than your last offering. Lots of good clues throughout including 11a (COTD), 1d (nice surface), 4d, 6d, 7d, and 22d. I ended up revealing 23a and 20d. I guessed but couldn't make sense of 14a and 18d. More in reply.
