Well, I got to this one a bit sooner than your last, Gennaro. A bit of a mixed bag for me this time, since I’m unfamiliar with 8d despite many years in the UK (not Scotland though). I did enjoy many clues, including 6a, 23a, 24a, 4d, 7d & 15d but no standouts this time. Thanks for your regularity - it keeps me coming back! Spoilers in reply

I enjoyed that and having spotted Nina quite soon, got a lot of help. My favourite was 17d - clever!

Good stuff Gennaro, thanks. Rather tougher than normal for you, I thought, partly due to my unfamiliarity with the key word and also some quite intricate wordplay in a number of clues. Favourites: 5a, 11a, 4d, 7d and 20d. Spoilers …

I enjoy your puzzles, Gennaro - very much, thanks. Some quick notes: I used 5a as our class COTD yesterday (my students loved it); 4d (learned two new words, thanks); 17d (love your use of the def!); 11a (interesting indicator); 3d (class) . . .

Nice as always. I did struggle to remember the Scottish term and got the nina first but it came back to me in the end and enabled me to get LOI, 18a. 11a, 24a, 25a, 3d and 20d my faves. Thanks. PM

Thanks Gennaro, good stuff - I managed to dredge up 8d from somewhere, then the Nina nicely implemented and helpful, as per 🙂 Faves 6a, 22a, 25a, 3d & 4d ... thanks again!

Thanks Gennaro. I'm used to a different spelling of 8d but the clear clueing and crossing letters sorted that out. 11a had me off down a blind alley with the way 'scoring' was used but provided a very satisfying LOI once I saw it.

Late to this party but glad I came! I got the key word surprisingly quickly (my brain holds some utterly obscure words sometimes) and once the Genina™ was about half-formed the twisted penny dropped! Lovely work as ever. 4d was a 4d!
