I did not get all the way, but I enjoyed what I did get. Acrosses: 8, 12, 17, 27 and downs: 1, 6, 14, 24 25 were my favourites. Utterly failed on the extras, but that was very clever! I'll keep attempting your puzzles and learning more clever clueing tricks (6d wordplay!)

Thanks Henri, that was fun with my top picks being 12a, 17a, 24a, 26a, 4d, and 22d. I used 'guess-and-check' to get the nho 5d & I still don't understand 20d. More in reply.

Nicely done, Henri - I had to slightly guess at 5d, which I have seen somewhere in a puzzle before but clearly hadn't stuck. An impressive gridfill, as such things without total horrors are. My picks were 12a, 21a, and 7d. I've also not seen 3d in ages for some reason, so that was a fun reappearance.

Super stuff, thanks Henri. Faves include 10a12a, 21a, 1d & 18d, although the little 'letter change' trick - and the way it's signalled - are the stars, very nicely implemented. Thanks again!

You do produce some ridiculously clever stuff Henri and your single letter SI is a cute as it comes (though see spoilers). A shed load of super clues to back it up with 8a(lol) 19a, 26a, 2d, 6d, 18d, 25d tickling my fancy particularly. Spoilers...

Great stuff Henri, thanks. I found this a little harder than your recent puzzles with some tricky WP and a couple of NHOs. Thoroughly enjoyed the central PDM when it emerged - really nicely executed. Favourites: 10a, 19a (for the nostalgia), 21a, 24a, 7d, 13d and 24d.

Brilliant Henri! 12a and 21a are top notch - 21a especially made me laugh. Every clue drips class! I've recorded my solve - will be on the channel tomorrow (Thurs 27th) at 12pm UTC.

Very late to this, Henri. But I did not want to leave it unsolved and the SI turned out to be less intimidating that first feared! 24a my out-and-out fave along with 4d, 18d, 20d, 22d and 24d. I was clearly enjoying mopping up in the South! Thanks. PM
