2d is just cheeky 😁

Thanks Gennaro. All went in fairly smoothly for me in two passes, despite the nina being an obscure reference to me. For those where I wasn't sure about the def, the wordplay eliminated uncertainty and vice versa. I particularly appreciated 6a, 7a, 27a, 2d (yes, cheeky!) 25d among many others. Not sure about the rogue apostrophe in 17d and also think the def maybe a bit iffy in 5d, but nothing to spoil a good morning solve, so thanks again.

The Nina brought a big smile to my face!

Far smoother for me than your last, Nina appeared early (I see TPG enjoyed it) and the whole thing is just packed with clever stuff. 2d is indeed neat, as is 12d. Other faves include 10a, 20a, 23a, 1d, 14d, 25d. 8d is very cheeky indeed. Thanks Gennaro, great start to the week!

Very good!

I really enjoyed that. Not my area of expertise but 12d guided the way and the clueing was at the benign end of your range. 14d was my tea tray moment, and favourite.

Ha, for my money, that was your best Nina yet. This hugely tickled me: a fun and immersive little mystery, with your trademark really adding an extra kick. Great surfaces too. Proper classy. 15a, 17a, 8d and 14d stood out for me. I do agree with Ozpiper re 17d and 5d but also agree that they didn’t dent the enjoyment one jot. Hats off!

Nice one Gennaro, thanks. That all went in very smoothly with the Nina helping in stages (see reply). Favourites: 10a, 11a, 1d, 3d, 6d and 14d. Spoilers …

Hi Gennaro. I very much enjoyed solving this, did it quite quickly but I'm ignorant regarding the Lynch theme and the reference to Nina. I'll try to keep up! Thank you.

Haha, I must say I kind of guessed the theme in advance due to a prior conversation between you and a certain other setter 😆 but that didn't stop me enjoying it! Very smooth throughout. Loved 10a, 19a, 27a, 5d, 16d and 21d. Thanks!

Plenty to like here as ever Gennaro and for once the Nina helped (albeit late on). You are certainly the Ninameister!! I enjoyed 9a, 10a, 15a, 17a, 19a, 14d, 22d. Just a couple of ??? to follow ...

Goodness me, Gennaro. Comments aplenty. Good fun and very smooth. I sailed through it in numerical order in a single pass which is always immensely satisfying. And only turned to the inn and linked clue at the very end. I'm not quite a tpg levels of fandom but enjoyed the series when it was first shown. Faves inc 10a, 17a, 23a, 27a, 12d, 14d and 24d. Thanks. PM
