Always a delight to read your surfaces PM even if I have to reveal answers, which I did with a few. 1a is very clever (COTD), there a couple of NHO's for me including 26a - very devious! I learnt a few new indicators along the way too (always a bonus). Standouts are 4a, 13a, 16a, 17a, 21d, 27d, 28d... I could go on. Thanks for a great puzzle.

A delightful solving experience as usual PM, with the NW going in last with some cunning tricks eluding me til the end. Surfaces a veritable treat as usual, plus tons of lovely stuff throughout, particularly 1a (tricky and creative), 4a (smooth), 14a (neat), 19a (likewise), 26a (likewise), 27a (lovely surface, very clean), 5d (nice), 17d (best use of device I've seen in a while, smoothly done), 18d (very neat) and 22d (nice). Thanks for the puzzle

Very good PM, thanks. I thought it was going to be another that I found tougher than everyone else but it actually unfolded pretty smoothly with no reveals - just a couple where I needed your notes for the parse. Favourites: 1a, 4a, 13a, 20a, 27a (COTD), 5d, 8d and 18d.

Thanks PM, a high quality puzzle which I enjoyed solving. Think I found this a bit trickier than most, especially the NW where I got a little stuck. A shame, because it would have been nice to solve the excellent 1a unaided. Other favourites were 14a, 27a, 1d, 18d and 21d.
