Re 4: Hogarth, say, Marillion's second lead rocker, introduces This Is Spinal Tap (6)

Thanks Henri. That was a quicker solve for me than usual, only needing to reveal 17d which in retrospect wasn't all that gnarly. Great clues all around with my top picks being 9a, 11a (COTD), 21a, 28a, 7/8d, and 13d. More in reply.

Good job Henri. Some very characteristic charades and cute definitions made this a fun solve. The theme was not familiar so neither helped nor hindered. Enjoyed particularly 9a, 11a, 24a, 7d/8d, 24d, 25d. Thanks. Spoiler

Good for what ails ya, esp 1a, 3a, 12a (cool), 30a (fav), 15d, 25d, 27d. Forgot to look for a theme even though 3a should’ve tipped me off! And chock full too, well done and thanks.

Thanks Henri, very nice. A fun solve where I "sensed" a theme but no chance of actually identifying it! Favourites were 3a, 21a ("quiet street" had me chasing shadows for a while!), 19d, 24d and 25d.
