Cryptic crossword No 2,834

Nice puzzle Gennaro with lovely surfaces. I particularly liked 5a, 7a, 15a, 2d, 3d, 21d and 18d (CoTD) - not being very nautical 9a is a NHO and the contracted form for Geneva in 23a is new to me (noted for future refence). Thank you for an enjoyable solve.

To me, simpler than your previous - the bottom half went in quickly but the top was more resistant. NHO Nina, but it was guessable after a bit and that helped. Faves include 10a,18a,21a,4d,7d,12d,18d. Thanks, G!

A lot of fun, thanks! I didn't realise 18d could be spelled that way, but I did find it in dictionaries. I think 24a was my fave.

Fun! Faves: 7a, 15a, 21a, 22a, 18d, 19d (nice), didn't get 14d without crosses (notes helped). NHO Nina either but it is darn good. Keep 'em coming!

Excellent, Gennaro -- this one's among my favorites from you. Isn't it funny how clues slowly reveal themselves to both solver and setter? Unless, that is, 12d was obvious to you when first laying eyes on the word. I like your puzzles, and others' too, partly because the setter's enjoyment comes through.
