Thanks Coot. A tricky puzzle and also enjoyable and extremely clever. I needed help with various clues and had many favorites, including 18a (so cool!), 22a (outside the box), 28a, 2d, 4d, 8d, 17d (neat), and also the apostrophe in 10a which I didn’t understand until later. Thanks again

Thanks Coot for a great set of clues. My top picks were 18a, 20a (after I read your notes - brilliant!), 26a, 7d, 8d, and 17d. In addition to 20a, I needed your notes to understand 12a & 15a. I had some trouble making sense of the surface in 3d but that didn't hinder my solving. Lastly, I found the level of difficulty just about perfect for me. All in all a top notch effort.

I enjoyed following this on Cryptic Sunday, Coot, and glad I did as I needed the extra brain power! That's no criticism at all (except of my solving ability 😬) as some I would have struggled to solve on my own are among my faves (eg 10a, the fab 20a, 16d). Some very tricky but brilliant cluing. V impressive. Query....

Lovely stuff again, Coot. Especially loved 20a & 22a and 14d tickled me. Undesirable? Surely not! Slick fun as always. Ta lots.

Great puzzle, it took a while with quite a bit of head scratching, particularly with 20d but parsed it in the end - very clever! Favourites - 10a, 18a (CoTD), 13a, 21a, 8d, 14d and 20d, thank you
