Very tricksy. Boisterous, complex, complicated, delirious, devious ... I could go on. Very neat idea, well executed and I don't think the clueing suffered particularly as a result. Favourites include: 1a, 11a, 15a, 27a, 2d (dnk but got from wordplay), 7d (very neat), 22d, 23d. You are certainly being very inventive with your puzzles, Henri. Spoilers in reply. Thanks. PM

Thanks Henri, very enjoyable puzzle and a fun theme (more on that to follow). Favourite clues were 6a (though I originally had this as Cuba, which sort of works), 26a, 18d and 22d.

Great stuff Henri! A very impressive feat of construction (grid and clues) given the self-inflicted constraints. I found the right hand side much trickier than the left. Loads a great clues; I’ll pick out 11A, 15A, 27A (good old Bob!), 2D, 7D and 18D for special mention. Spoilery reply.

Thanks for the wonderful puzzle Henri, lovely idea and really well executed. Some tricky bits but I really enjoyed finishing this one and worked out most of the theme too, nicely done! I particularly liked 1a (lovely construction for a nho), 6a (very clean), 8a (another lovely construction), 11a (wonderful surface), 25a (neat), 3d (neat), 7d (lovely construction), 18d (great surface) and 23d (well hidden!)

Henri, sorry to be slow - I see you have already delighted your fans again - but congrats on a fine puzzle. I enjoyed solving it a few days ago and was duly impressed when I saw the challenge that you had set yourself and met.
