Thanks Maya, very enjoyable. Favourites include 21a (although is "where" quite right? I think it is, for crossword-land at least!), 24a (spent ages trying to parse, then ... d'oh!), 29a, 31a, 3d, 9d (though perhaps might have gotten away with a more 'hidden' definition?), 12d, 15d (another taking a while to 'get'!), and 17d (odd surface, but lovely definition). Spoilers follow ...

Thanks for the puzzle Maya, tough (for me - I'm not the best solver) but fun! Nice thematic implementation too, though I'm shamefully uncultured... Particular favourites were 6a (neat), 11a (fun), 14a (fun), 16d (nice construction), 20a (likewise), 21a (likewise), 28a (nho but satisfyingly solvable), 31a (very neat), 1d (creative), 4d (neat), 7d (fun) and 17d

Thanks Maya, I had fun with this one. I don't know 1a 8d well enough to get all the themed references but looks like you got a fair bit in here. Particular favourites were 11a, 23a, 3d, 15d and 17d (this looked incomprehensible to me, and then suddenly it clicked - very satisfying).

Like Fez, I saw your RC debut recently and found this equally, probably more, enjoyable. The SI were helpful and I got off to a good early start with 1a/8d giving me plenty of letters to play with. Favourites include: 16a (nicely put together), 3d (smooth), 4d (ditto), 12d (very cutely done), 18d (odd surface but nice construction) and 30d. Annotations would be helpful; there were some I could not parse. Spoilers in Reply. Thanks. PM

Thanks Maya - good fun! Not a lot to add to the comments of others except that my experience was more similar to sirdakka than to Fez. I still haven’t worked out how 15D works but I’m sure there’s a good PDM to be had when I get it!
