Enjoyed that. Faves: 11a, 14a, 15a (great spot!), 22a (I got without parsing but bravo), 2d (loved the rhyme) - great stuff, well done.

Very late to this particular party but I just joined this site and saw a familiar name. Nice puzzle ... Knut with his softest velvet gloves on! I needed to see the comments before I twigged '20 20 more formally' - ooh that was clever. Needed your cheat sheet to see why CASSEROLE (missed that King) - also barked up the wrong trees with Hank and Derek! Beleted thanks...
