Liked it, 3d and 6d new to me though.

Good stuff, I enjoyed that. The grid and the number of clues had me expecting a quick and breezy puzzle but actually it was a nice mix of straightforward and chewy. Like Lippi I didn't know 3d and 6d and needed a dictionary word finder for both. A few others were unusual but not obscure, such as 9a and 12d. I thought the long ones were handled well, not all anagrams as many people fall back on (me included). Thanks!

Thanks. 3d new (I worked it out with the cross letters then googled) and I don't think I'd come across 9a before but could deduce it from the clue. I did know 6d. I liked 2d.

Nice one jugular, thanks. Lots to enjoy in this. Some tricky GK required but generally clued clearly so it wasn’t a significant impediment. My picks 8A, 20A (very neat), 2D and 5D.

Well done, jugular. My favourites were 13a, 20a, 2d (though it's a horrible word), 15d and 18d. Spoilers in Reply. Thanks. PM
