First puzzle here! Very nervous but hopefully you'll enjoy it! (I also hope I didn't make too many mistakes.)

Welcome Nod. Lots to like in this one including 11a, 12a, 16a, 25a, 4d, 7d, 9d (I needed the annotations to parse it but when I did it brought a smile) and 26d. A few questions came to mind. I hope you'll get some more comments....

Nice debut, Nod, with some lovely inventive ideas. The standout clues for me were 15a and 2d. Mistakes? Well, maybe you could tighten up the grammar in a few places but I only grumble about that if it stops me solving the clue, and I managed to unravel everything here - including 9d, which is a fun clue. Spoilers in reply…

Hi Nod, super debut puzzle, and a pangram too, well done. Thought 15a fantastic - an &Lit I’d say - and I really enjoyed back parsing 9d once I’d figured out what the answer was likely to be. Great clue. Big ticks for 12a 11a 1a 26d and 4d. New 5a a good improvement. Thanks for a fun puzzle

And another nod of approval from me! Is this your first puzzle anywhere or just on MyC? If the former, that is extremely impressive. Others have made the points about grammar and letter indicators that I might have raised - see spoiler for a very picky expansion re grammar. Lots of invention and fun surfaces to enjoy, my particular favourites being 1A, 12A, 21A, 8D, 22D, and 27D.

Hi Nod and welcome to MyCrossword! This was an impressive debut with some lovely, creative clueing - I particularly liked 5a (neat), 10a (smooth), 12a (very clean), 15a (nice), 25a (smooth), 30a (fun), 2d (clever), 9d (fun), 14d (clean) and 22d (neat) - thanks for the puzzle :)

Welcome Nod - I'm another who enjoyed this. Some neat clueing, with my particular favourites being 20a, 2d, and 27d. The same very minor points as others, but nothing that made the clues overly difficult, nor that really made me scowl. Well done!

Finally got round to this one after seeing the great comments so far, and it didn’t disappoint. 9d is genius but I was never going to parse it in a million years! Also liked 11a, 13a and 2d a lot. Nice work, let’s see some more 👏
