Special Instructions: I tried to make this one easier. Not sure how well I managed that!

Thanks for the challenge, PM - I'd not actually finished your previous quiptic, but this is certainly more on point with difficulty level. You still weave in plenty of whimsy and inventiveness into your surfaces and constructions, this is well worth having a go! I particularly liked...

Very nice, PM - thanks. To borrow a Blah-ism, I’d say Quiptic-plus; mostly clued in straightforward fashion with barely an obscurity. And no damage done to the fun, wit and well-crafted surfaces that we have come to expect of a PM puzzle. Hard to pick favourites but I’ll go for 1A, 8A, 17A, 21A, 1D, 9D and 20D. Spoilers in reply.

Great stuff, PM, I enjoyed this immensely. A wee bit tricky in places, but generally very accessible. And lots of fun. Favourites include 4a, 9a, 2d, 6d, 7d, 20d.

Some lovely clues here. Cheers PM. 4a is lovely and some characteristic humour…

Several weeks late, but I had a spare 15 mins today and fancied a quick and hopefully easy puzzle to fill the gap, and this was just the ticket. Initially couldn't parse 4a but chuckled when the penny dropped. I loved 7d, so simple yet made me smile.
