Thanks Meles for an excellent set of clues. I found this a bit of a challenge & more than one answer went in based on definition & crossers. (Not unusual for me.) My top picks were 8a, 9a, 11a, 5d (liked the definition), 21d, & 22d. Nice work.

Excellent puzzle Meles. NE corner took me the longest (hadn't heard of 6d so thanks to my mum for getting that one 😁). Enjoyed 8a, 9a, 13a, 17a, 23a (fancy), 25a, 3d, 5d (nice def), 14d, 22d. Nice work
